I’ve been trying to write a paper on patent law the last couple days…I know, I know, my life is thrilling. In one of my moments of utter boredom I decided to take a peer through the wonders that YouTube has to offer. Now, I’ve never been particularly interested in the goingson of people I don’t know’s lives. Nor do I think anyone I don’t know should be interested in the goingson of my life (perhaps even people I do know).
While rummaging through the droves of YouTube drivel, however, I came across these guys. I think they’re all in college—god I’m getting (but am not yet) old. What I thought was particularly interesting though was how addictive it was. Now don’t get me wrong folks, these are low budget films of people sharing bits of themselves with the masses, and I still think that if I was locked in a room with these videos and something produced by the big companies, I’d still probably pick the produced thing. Yet I really was engaged, and the videos sort of spoke to me and, of course, made me laugh.
Sorry to go introspective, but my head is plugging away thinking about patents.
